Cantina Mazzarosa
Company Description

Cantina Mazzarosa is one of the most historic wineries in Central Italy, producers since 1863. A unique cellar of its kind designed by Senator Devincenzi, with vertical barrels, still preserved and used today. Also here was built one of the largest barrels in Europe, of 1000 hectoliters, this too is still carefully preserved in our cellar and can be visited. Our goal is to pass on Abruzzo traditions, but always with a focus on innovation: in our vineyards that are between 20 and 40 years old, we cultivate Trebbiano, Pecorino and Montepulciano. We produce Trebbiano, Pecorino, Cerasuolo, Montepulciano Colline Teramane DOCG, Montepulciano Riserva Colline Teramane DOCG and a premium wine: Vere Novo. This one is an unique wine, produced with the Whole Bunch technique. Then we have also a Sparkling Wine Charmat Method, Vino Cotto (typical dessert wine from Abruzzo) and our extravirgin olive oil.
